The out of pocket rate is $180 for the first visit, which is 1 1/2-2 hours, and includes an extensive intake, an acupuncture specific exam, and a treatment. Thereafter, the visits are approximately 1 hour, and cost $90. If you have Carefirst BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, Aetna or Johns Hopkins EHP, and have acupuncture benefits, the cost will vary depending on your particular policy. It is your responsibility to know the extent of your coverage, although my insurance group will confirm coverage.
